Babydoll Dance with Photo: Image Requirements & Setup

The photo-to-dance workflow starts with an image that gives the character room to move. This guide explains what to check before spending credits and what the optional scene step can change.

Start with one clearly visible person or character

Use a JPG, PNG or WebP image up to 10 MB. A clear full-body photo is usually a better starting point than a face-only crop. Keep the head, hands and feet inside the image, with visible space around them. Avoid a foreground object that hides a leg or a second person whose limbs overlap the subject.

Photos and illustrated characters are supported. You must own the image or have permission to animate it, including consent from the person depicted. The service checks inputs for supported subjects and unsafe content. This is a creative motion-transfer workflow, not a guarantee that every detail of a real person will remain unchanged.

Use scene preparation only when you need it

A usable full-body image can go straight to the dance step. The full-body preparation checkbox, background image and prompts are optional. If you start from a close-up portrait, scene preparation can create a wider image with a body and additional space. Because those details are generated, review the image carefully before continuing.

Scene preparation costs 1 credit. Check that the face remains recognizable, the pose is natural, the hands and feet are complete and the character is not pressed against the image edges. Correcting the input before a video is more useful than changing the player display after missing body parts have already been generated.

Use a real background photo or write a scene prompt

You are not limited to anime settings. Upload a room, garden, studio or other location image that you have permission to use. You can also describe a setting in the optional scene prompt. For example: A bright dance studio with a wooden floor, soft daylight, and enough empty space around the full-body subject.

A background image and scene prompt guide scene preparation together. They do not promise a pixel-identical backdrop. Keep instructions focused on the setting, light and framing. A separate video prompt can guide mood and expression; it does not replace the choreography or choose a new song. Prompts can be left empty.

Match the image to the motion reference

Preview the left and right Babydoll dancers, then choose one. Both are available as 8-, 15- and 25-second clips. The studio defaults to 25 seconds for more of the performance. A reference with raised arms and wide steps needs additional space around the subject in your image.

For your own routine, upload an MP4 of one visible dancer within the 3–30 second limit. Keep movement visible throughout the selected section. The video supplies timing and movement, while the image supplies appearance. After the asynchronous job completes, review and download the MP4 from your creations. A successful result may still contain visual artifacts and should be checked before publication.
